What's wrong for not wanting to kill people? I don't see how sticking to his own believes make him a loser. Not every person is the same, the MC is still a human being. I don't mind Sorey sticking to his ideals.

Seeing the gloomy Sorey for multiple episodes is quite annoying to be honest. But instead, they wasted them for animating how Sorey thinks about dealing with Malevolence. Most of the talking scenes in Season 2 could've been used for fighting scenes or dungeon exploration. I think the anime is worse than the game.
